Monday Tidbits for June 4: Last Weekend and Next Weekend
--Baby sash alert: Princess Adrienne of Sweden will be christened this Friday, June 8th, at noon (that's 6 am Eastern). We can usually stream those internationally, so we'll plan on an open post here. In advance of the big event, the little princess has been given her coat of arms and her monogram.
--Hat alert: Then the baton passes over to the British royal family, who will turn out en masse for Trooping the Colour on Saturday, June 9th.
--Before we get to next weekend, we need to catch up on this past weekend: The whole Swedish royal family turned out for the wedding of Louise Gottlieb and Gustav Thott. The bride, who is known as Lussan, is Princess Madeleine's best friend and her parents are friends of the King and Queen. I'd say Crown Princess Victoria's dress choice is one of her best for the year so far. [Svenskdam]
--Over at the Jewel Vault, the Queen enjoyed a weekend trip to the races with Princess Alexandra. She also revealed a never-before-seen photograph of Harry and Meghan, spotted on her side table during one of her audiences.
--And finally, enjoy a gallery from Queen Máxima's very colorful working trip to India with the UN. [Hello]
Coming up this week: Some Yorks, some christening prep, and more...
